March 13, 2020 – At this time, due to concerns for the health and safety of the Miller Grove School community, Miller Grove ISD will be extending Spring Break by one week to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. This decision was made after consulting other experts in their fields: health departments, Center for Disease Control, the Texas Department of State Health Services, Texas Education Agency, Emergency Medical Services and local medical personnel.
We understand this decision affects your family and we appreciate your support. Our number one goal is your student and their well-being. The extra week will provide an opportunity to monitor and address changes in the fluid nature of the illness.
Information will be updated on our web site www.mgisd.net and utilization of the school all call. As of now, staff and students should plan to return on March 23, 2020.
