Born and raised in Northeast Texas, I graduated from Boles High School and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Photography, minoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, at Texas A&M University-Commerce. After graduating college, I worked as the photographer for the Sulphur Springs News Telegram for the next three and a half years before enrolling in the Alternative Certification Program at TAMU-C to receive my EC-12 Art education certification. While enrolled in the AC Program working towards my teaching certificate, I began coaching girls’ sports and teaching PE and high school Art at Miller Grove ISD.

Now married for six years with a 4-year-old son and a 5-month-old daughter, I am excited to begin my 13th year teaching elementary, junior high, and high school Art and high school Graphic Design here at Miller Grove with the best faculty, staff, and students! God is good!
