Net-Ole presents and performs for community

Mrs. Heijligers{s Spanish class presented and performed their Net’ole projects and dances for the community on Tuesday, April 6th in the Miller Grove School Cafeteria. The performance was preceded by a meal served by the performers.  Proceeds from the meal were to benefit Net’ole. The students have worked very hard and placed well at UIL. A summary of their placements follows.

First places:

  • Kyndra Wade, Haley Kovach, and Jasmine Mullins, la muerte in paper machee
  • Brennan Green, Diego Perez, Grant Earp, Treyton Andree, Chandler Lee, coffin día de los muertos
  • Noemy Resendiz. the Virgin Mary on canvas colored with glitter
  • Berenice Jimenez…cwoman on canvas, Día de los muertos…
  • Alexis Serrano, Natalie White, Jessica Mullins, Jacob Kilpatrick, Jack McCoy…vocal group…el cóndor pasa

Fourth places:

  • Courtnie Helterbrand, Katie Moore, woman with mask
  • Candace Earp, Aleigh Bessonett, Kayleigh Lester, Noelia Tellez, Wyatt Poteet, Kariya Allen, play, el coyote y el conejo
  • Merced Tellez, Alexis Serrano, Natalie White, Jessica Mullins, Perla Tovar, Kate Delcastillo, Jacob Kilpatrick, Erick Jimenez…los matachines, folkloric dance

Fifth places:
