Secondary Principal issues new tardy policy for grades 6-12

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are having an issue with tardies.  Below are the consequences now for students in grades 6-12.

Tardies have become abundant and are out of control.  Beginning 3/18/2019 students will receive the following consequences for being tardy:

4 tardies = Thursday after school detention.  If you have early release you will still be responsible for being back at 3:30 for detention.

6 tardies = Saturday school

Every tardy after the 6th will result in ISS.

If you skip after school detention you will be assigned Saturday school.  Skipping of Saturday school will result in two days of ISS.

The school day begins at 8:00.  Showing up after 8:00 is a tardy.

Sincerely,

Gary Billingsley

Secondary Principal
