Spectator info for Volleyball Regionals in Ft. Worth Nov. 11-12

Volleyball area champsOur volleyball girls will be playing in the 2022 Region III-1A Volleyball Tournament Nov. 11-12, 2022 in Ft Worth at the Billingsley Field House, 1400 Foch Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. From I-30, go north 1/2 mile on Summit Abe, then turn left (heading west) on Lancaster Ave.

Game times are: 

Friday

  • Semifinal Game 1 – 5 pm
  • Semifinal Game 2 – 7 pm

Saturday

  • Championship Game – 1 pm (Teams may flip to be home or visitor)

Tickets:

All ticket must be purchased online. Ticket prices for each day are $8 for adults and $5 for students (plus applicable fees). Tickets will post online the day before the event. There is no pre-sale of tickets. No passes will be accepted.

Parking:

Home team and visiting team spectators may enter at the main entrance facing north. The team entrance is west of the main entrance by the side doors. The home team is the top team on the UIL bracket, https://www.uiltexas.org/volleyball/playoff-brackets/1A/3-4

Guest Entry:

Home team spectators are encouraged to enter and sit in the west stands. Visiting team spectators are encouraged to enter and sit in the east stands. Spectators will not be allowed on the court or in the dressing room area. (The home team is the top team on the UIL bracket.)

In & Out Policy:

Anyone who leaves the facility and returns will be required to purchase another ticket for re-entry – no exceptions.

Programs: 

Tournament programs with team information can be purchased for $3.

Items Not Allowed:

Food, drinks (including water), signs, banners, noisemakers, thundersticks, clappers, horns, band instruments, whistles, confetti, balloons, live animals, etc., may not be brought into the arena – no exceptions.

Pets/Animals Prohibited:

This policy shall comply with the provisions of Texas code Sec. 121.002., in that such a person with a disability or person training an assisted animal has the right to be accompanied by a service dog or an assisted animal under control. Under Sec. 121.005., the person is liable for damage done to any premises or facility by a service dog or assisted animal.

Videotaping: 

No videotaping is allowed. Spectators will not be allowed to bring video camcorders into the facility. Still cameras (without flash) are permitted as flash photography is prohibited.

Cheerleaders: 

Cheerleaders and mascots in uniform will enter free at team entrance at (northwest corner) with two sponsor(s) – no parents.

Cheerleaders may use zip ties (no tape) to post signs with a positive message about their team along the north end or south end railing nearest their team’s bench. The signs must be removed immediately following their team’s game.

Members of drill teams, pep squads, spirit groups, etc. must purchase a ticket and enter facility at main entrance.

Pep Band: 

Live pep bands are permitted, but all band members MUST PURCHASE A TICKET! Free admission to pep band members from either school is NOT PERMITTED! Pep bands may play during pregame, timeouts, intermission and postgame. When multiple pep bands are present, band directors shall coordinate with each other, which band plays at which time.

Concessions: 

Concession stands will be open to purchase food and drinks. Water fountains are also available.

Crowd Management:

Each school shall designate a game administrator who will be responsible for their crowd management. The representative will meet with the tournament director and game officials prior to their game to indicate their seat location.
