After setting records at TCU as a star linebacker, BJ graduated and went on to have a long and fulfilling career in Law Enforcement that spanned 40 years. He worked for the Ft. Worth and Euless Police Departments before moving to Sulphur Springs. When he arrived in Hopkins County he worked for the TNT Drug Task Force then went on to become the Chief of Police for the Sulphur Springs Police Department. After leaving there, he took a job as the Chief of Police for SSISD. Then MGISD was blessed enough to have him start our Police Department as our first Chief. BJ has been a steady friend and role model for the kids and the community of Miller Grove. Please join us to wish him and his wife Pam a relaxing retirement.
