Parents, the school's administration would like you to know that we received a tip today of a possible threat against our school. Law enforcement was notified and responded immediately. Hopkins County Sheriff's Office has informed MGISD administration that the threat was associated with a school district in another state and there have been no credible threats linked to MGISD. Please rest assured the safety of our children, staff, and community is our number one priority. As a precaution there will be added security on our campus today.
