Hello, my name is Belinda Smith. I am looking forward to working with you and your student this year! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, maybe some inspiring moments and I can’t wait to see what all this year has is store for us. I have been married to my husband, Larry for 42 years. We have three sons, three grand-children and larger extended family. My family is very important to me and we get together when we can. Some of my hobbies include being an amateur radio operator, “ham”, being outdoors and watching wildlife. I have lived in Rains County for 5 years after living in AL for 4 years. I am a 5th generation Texan and I am so happy to be back in Texas. This will be my 21st year of teaching. I have always taught a variety of science subjects with the main focus being High School Science. It is my mission to instill a love for science in my students. I believe all students can learn. I look forward to a great year!
