Cody Walker

My name is Cody Walker I am teaching middle school mathematics at Miller Grove as well as Coaching. I grew up in Princeton, Tx. and went to college at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) in Waxahachie, Tx. where I received my Bachelor’s in Secondary Mathematics as well as an Associates Degree in Bible. I married my high school sweet heart and best friend, Jadyn and this past May our baby girl Rylee Jordin (RJ) made our family 3. This is my first year teaching I am looking forward to teaching students not only in the classroom, but also on the field.

My life philosophy:
Don’t waste a heartbeat we are only allocated a certain number of heartbeats/breaths/opportunities in a lifetime, I want to instill this kind of mentality of being intentional with time into all my students and watch them grow to their fullest potential.
My classroom philosophy:
Control what you can control – your attitude and your effort. If you truly give your best in both of these areas, everyday becomes a good day.
